Executive Board (E-Board) Members


President: MPO Pete Weber

Pete Weber is a Master Patrol Officer with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and has been serving as the president since January 2023.  The FOP President presides at all meetings and is responsible for representing and speaking on behalf of the FOP in communications with the KUMC Police Department Administration.

 

Vice-President: Cpl. Miranda Lawson

Miranda Lawson is a Corproal with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and has been serving as the vice-president since January 2023.  The Vice President serves as the Chief of Staff and is responsible the day to day operations of the FOP, coordinating the efforts of and communication between the other members of the Executive Board.  The Vice President shall assume the duties and authority of the President in his/her absence.

 

Secretary: Ofc. Derik Ehlert

Derik Ehlert is an Officer with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and has been serving as the secretary since January 2023.  The Lodge Secretary is responsible for maintaining a copy of the current By-Laws and Memorandum of Agreement, which shall be brought to and made available at all meetings.  The Secretary shall record the minutes of those meetings and distribute them to Lodge members.  The Secretary shall perform other administrative functions of the FOP to include maintenance of this website, the FOP's Facebook page, and membership files.

 

Treasurer: Ofc. Dan Masilionis

Dan Masilionis is an officer with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and has been serving as the treasurer since January 2023.  The Lodge Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the FOP financial accounts, keeping an accurate log of all monies received or expended, current balances, paying bills, and preparing an annual written financial statement to the Lodge membership.

 

Sergeant at Arms: Ofc. Hanif Gray

Hanif Gray is an officer with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and has been serving as the Sergeant at Arms since January 2023. The Sergeant at Arms is responsible for maintaining the peace and security of all lodge meetings and official functions, allowing none to enter unless they are a dues paying member in good standing or otherwise have proper business therein.

 

Immediate Past President:  Cpl. LaToya Atkins

LaToya Atkins is a Corporal with the University of Kansas Medical Center Police Department and served as the President of the FOP Lodge #37, from July 2021 to December 2022.  The Immediate Past President is responsible for overseeing the successful transition from one presidency to another and for acting as an adviser to the current President.


Lodge Stewards

In accordance with Article 7 of the Memorandum of Agreement, signed 5 May 2021, the following individuals have been selected by the Lodge to serve as Stewards.  They are representatives of their respective shifts and shall be the initial point of contact and principal liaison of information between the Lodge members and its Executive Board.  Stewards are responsible for compiling any questions, concerns, or grievances from their shift's members and presenting these to the Executive Board at Lodge meetings.
